Dp manufactures its own highest quality billet piston pins using very high quality steel, tool steel and high speed steel materials with very low Sulphur contents, lowest than 0.005%. All piston pins are manufactured in very small batches for ensuring highest accuracy and are subject to dedicated heat treatments and surface treatments that increases pin life.
The correct piston specification depends on the power level, torque output, boost pressure, fuel type, RPM range, and intended use of the engine. For this reason, DP Engine Parts offers three different racing piston categories, each engineered for a specific performance level.
